LOCATION:
-Kawartha James Manor is located at 2637 Mary Nichols Rd. off of County Rd #23 (aka Buckhorn Rd).
-It is approx. 5 minutes south of Buckhorn Ontario (grocery store, convenience store, liquor store, hardware store, post office, restaurants, etc.)
-It is approx. 10 minutes north of Lakefield Ontario ( grocery, convenience, liquor and beer stores, hardware, post office, banks, police, restaurants etc.)
-It is approx. 30 minutes northeast of Peterborough ( full size city, hospital, big box stores etc.)
-It is approx. 1.5 hours northeast of the GTA (Toronto, ON)
KJM is an "easy access" retreat. There are no bumpy, un-kept dirt or gravel roads to get here. No roads to get lost on or to damage your vehicle, so feel free to drive whatever you wish, without worry. The roads to Kawartha James also provide great motorcycle rides, (and about 10 minutes from the 507 which riders travel from afar just to ride that legendary bike road.) The roads to KJM are paved, and are well maintained throughout the entire year. There is plenty of parking available at KJM and garage space available for your snowmobiles in the winter.
